Email Filter for Sub Production Instances

Out-of-box, ServiceNow prevents end-users from receiving emails from sub-production instances. It would be confusing to have received notifications for approvals and SLA breaches come in for items in development. Developers, on the other hand, would like to confirm that their development items are properly being sent out, and in the proper format.

The out-of-box method sends all notifications for the entire instance to a single email address. This can get cluttered very quickly.

Our utility lets certain people, based on group membership, receive emails directly. All others are ignored but are still visible in the email log on the instance (if needed).

This utility is supported by Finite Partners and will publish updates for future ServiceNow releases, as well as integrating any enhancement/defects, as needed.
